As a current second year medical student at USC, I am familiar with the application process for graduate programs in the United States and believe I can help guide students in preparing personal statements and their applications. As an undergraduate, I majored in Molecular and Cell Biology and minored in Spanish at UC Berkeley while working in a local free clinic and researching in a genetics lab on campus. I also had the opportunity to mentor younger students at UC Berkeley, helping them get involved in research and extracurriculars on campus and prepare applications for MD and PhD programs. Following graduation, I worked in molecular biology research at UCSF before pursuing my MD at USC. I hope to bring some of my experience in mentorship and graduate school applications to help even more students through Dream School Studio. Applying to graduate schools can be a daunting process, and I hope to provide some support to make it a bit more manageable (and successful!).
